Questions from reps
How is profit worked out?
Profit is the contract price minus the direct costs of that job, such as materials, labor, permits and disposal. There is no overhead fee or company fee taken off the top before your share is calculated. Your agreement lists exactly what counts as a job cost, line by line.
When do I get paid?
Your share is paid once the job is paid. On insurance jobs the payment normally comes in within about 60 days, depending on the insurer and, when there is a mortgage, the lender releasing the check.
Is $500,000 or more a year realistic?
For a top producer, yes, but it depends entirely on the jobs you bring in. At 60% of profit, a rep closing about two average sized replacement jobs a week is in that range, and there is no cap above it. Someone closing one a week earns about half that.
Why 60% when most companies pay less?
Because the rep who finds, sells and walks the job deserves most of what it makes. We keep our side lean instead of charging you for our overhead.
Do I need a roofing license?
Texas does not license roofers. What matters is that you know roofs, know the claim process and follow Texas rules: no deductible waivers and no negotiating claims for homeowners.
Where would I work?
Prosper, Frisco, McKinney, Celina, Plano, Allen, Little Elm, Denton, The Colony, Aubrey and the rest of Collin and Denton counties.
