Terms of Service
These terms cover the use of this website and the services of Appraisal Roofing ("we").
Inspections
Storm damage inspections are free and carry no obligation. An inspection is our opinion of the roof's condition on the day we see it. It is not a promise that a claim will be approved.
Insurance claims and Texas rules
We are a roofing contractor. We are not a public adjuster, an insurance adjuster, an appraiser or a law firm. Under Texas law we do not negotiate insurance claims on your behalf, do not act as your representative with your insurer, and do not waive, absorb, rebate or offset any part of your deductible. The policyholder files and controls the claim. We document damage, meet the adjuster on the roof at your request, and build the roof.
Estimates and payment
Written estimates are valid for 30 days. On insurance work, payment is the deductible plus any upgrades you choose, with the balance paid from claim proceeds. Texas law requires that you pay your deductible in full, and we provide an itemized invoice showing it.
Warranty
Materials carry the manufacturer's warranty. Our workmanship warranty covers installation defects for the period stated in your contract. Storm damage after installation is an insurance matter, not a warranty matter.
